Invitation to Bid – Kitchen and Toilet Room Renovations at Andreozzi Hall at the Kickemuit Village

The Warren Housing Authority, Warren, Rhode Island, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from Contractors for completing the Kitchen and Toilet Room Renovations at Andreozzi Hall at the Kickemuit Village housing development; in accordance with the documents prepared by William Starck Architects, Inc., 126 Cove Street, Fall River, Massachusetts.

The work generally includes, but is not limited to the following:

Work of this Contract includes the renovation of the existing Kitchen and Men’s and Women’s Toilet Rooms. The scope of work also includes new interior finishes, mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm and electrical upgrades to accommodate the new renovations.

Bids are subject to Equal Employment Opportunities, bonding requirements and other bidding and contract requirements as set forth in the construction documents.

Bids will be received until 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at the Warren Housing Authority, 20 Libby Lane, Warren, Rhode Island, 02885.  Sealed proposals may be submitted via USPS mail or via the Document Drop-Box located in the Main Office vestibule at 20 Libby Lane, Warren, RI.  Individuals requesting interpreter services for the hearing impaired must notify the Warren Housing Authority at (401) 245-7019 seventy-two (72) hours prior to the bid opening.

Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Deposit that is not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount and made payable to the Warren Housing Authority.

Bid Forms and Bid Documents will be available via email free of charge, in PDF format beginning Wednesday, August 7, 2024 from the office of the Architect, William Starck Architects, Inc., 126 Cove Street, Fall River, Massachusetts, 02720, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Bidders requesting Contract Documents are to contact:

If mailed, bids shall be sent to the Warren Housing Authority, 20 Libby Lane, Warren, Rhode Island, 02885 and received no later than the date and time specified above.

A non-mandatory Pre-bid conference is scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the project site, 20 Libby Lane, Warren, Rhode Island, 02885.  Meet at the exterior of the Administration Office.

Bids are subject to prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Secretary of Labor.

The Warren Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding if it be in the public interest to do so.
