State of Rhode Island has issued a State of Emergency.
In accordance with the recommendation of the Governor of the State of Rhode Island, and in acknowledgement of the unprecedented measures necessary to stem the spread of COVID-19, the Town of Warren has declared a State of Emergency. In accordance with Section 3.11 of the Warren Town Charter, Town Council President Keri Cronin has made the determination that this action is necessary to protect the public peace, health, safety and welfare. Members of the public should follow the guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the RI Department of Health by avoiding large crowds, employing strict hand washing and social distancing protocols and self-quarantining when appropriate.
Warren Housing Authority has implemented the following procedures:
- The Office will be closed to the Public. Warren Housing Authority will not accept any in-person visits. Most questions and concerns can be addressed via telephone or email.
- The Office staff will be available during normal business hours via telephone at 401-245-7019 or via email. Please visit our Staff Directory for staff contact information.
- The Office has installed a Drop-Box located in the Main Office vestibule in H-Building. Visitors may drop off documentation in this secure drop-box in lieu of visiting the office.
The above procedures will be effective until further notice.
